September Goals
I thought I would follow along with some other San Diego bloggers and post my monthly goals. I have a couple big ones this month:
1. Find a great new apartment or roommate situation
2. Start my first semester as an intern, and cultivate a regular clientle
3. Start up the South Beach Diet again
4. Do pilates/yoga/jogging at least three times a week
5. Get over stupid ex-boyfriend
6. Finish Misty Meadow scarf for Knit the Classics project... I got started on this scarf yesterday, and I just love how the colors are coming out. The picture doesn't do it justice:

It starts out with a purplish/pink and blue green, then more turquoise, and its now evolving into green. I just love it so far.
I had to give my 30 day notice at my apartment yesterday, too... man that was hard. I LOVE where I live right now and it is truly breaking my heart to move. I'm only a block from a little beach at the end my street, and I'm only a short walk from Sunset Cliffs, where I love to jog. My place is an adorable little beach cottage, and I have worked so hard in the gardens I have and my cats love to be able to go outside and play in the grass once in a while... and I love my neighbors, too. Ugh. But I figure its just a place to live, and I will find a new great place to start the next chapter in my life... without Dunbass.
This afternoon will help me keep my mind off of things- I am going on my very first yarn crawl with some other San Diego bloggers, some of whom I will be meeting for the first time. I can't wait! I have a goal in mind; to find yarn for the Simple Knit Bodice (do I really need to link it??)... wish me luck!

Good luck on the apartment search - Give South Park and/or North Park a try - still reasonable and a great, fun area :)

Saw your post over at Knit the Classics, and popped over to comment (I'm not a member, so I can't comment, I just stalk it): I think it's a great idea, and these colours are gorgeous. From your description I've really gotten a notion to read the book too.

I'm so glad you were able to come yesterday! Oh, and I heard back from Ms. Stefanie and she said that for the SKB, to work toward the actual gauge suggested in the pattern. She said the confusion was because it was originally writen for smaller needles. So if you aim for that gauge with the Cotton Twist you should be fine! Good luck!

that scarf is going to be beautiful - perfect yarn/pattern combo! I think I need to re-read Time Traveler's Wife - it's one of my all time fav. novels.
