Blocking
I am blocking Branching Out as i write this. I think it looks pretty damn good! 
I decided to pin it and spritz it with water. Then I did a non-contact steam. I think it might just work! And of course, because I have a term paper that i should be working on, I decide to procrastinate and knit something new instead! I started on the leaf-pattern scarf, and although I like the look and the colors, the mohair-ish yarn is a bit too scratchy for a scarf. i think I might reverse the colors... have the black be the main color, and the mohair-ish stuff be the leaves. This is a super-easy pattern, though. 
Ok, must get back to writing that damn paper. I cannot wait until this stupid semester is over!!

Rite Aid has yarn but only the very basics: Red Heart, Sugar and Cream, etc.

love love love the branching out - that is great, girlie!! can't wait to see it on when it's all done! hey, does it ever get cold enough to wear a scarf in san diego? ;) my hubby and i are from cleveland oh and we really really want to move to san diego...the weather always seems so perfect there!!
keep up the good knitting and thx for keepin' ur blog current...i check it everyday and love to hear about what's going on in ur world :)

I made Lelah a halter because I wear halter tops 24/7 in warm weather but not so much with tube tops. Plus halter tops are sooo flattering, I think they make everyone look good.
I'm going to good ol' community college, Sacramento City College to be exact. I figured I'd take it a little easy for my first couple of years of college and ease my way into all the stress and everything. Going straight to a 4 year just seems like more time, energy, stress, and money than it's really worth.
